Gold Mining Lease in Western Australia with promising drilling reports.

15km outside Leonora in the northern gold fields of WA we had promising finds of gold in an ongoing drilling operation on our mining lease, next to the Laverton Road.

 

Situated in the centre of the lease is a hill with 3 quartz reefs visible on it’s top. After positive drillings along these reefs more than ten years ago, a mining company started to excavate on the top of the Hill.

 

 

The ground was too hard for the chosen machinery & after a few breakdowns, the mining company abandoned the project.

At the bottom of the hill, around old diggings & shafts we placed our drillings & had surprising results.

 

At a depth of 30m, there is a 3m deep zone of more than 20g of gold per tonne of rock, with lesser grades in the surrounding areas.

 

 

An existing shaft in good condition, built about 20 years ago, leads down to the horseshoe-shaped reef.

 

 

To complete the exploration of this reef we are planning 4 more drillings in the vicinity.
